lucky no. 14 reading challenge

satu lagi reading challenge di tahun 2014 yang pengen gua ikutin, kali ini digagas oleh astrid. and setelah ngubek2, akhirnya gua berhasil menemukan 14 buku untuk dibaca sesuai kategori :)) berikut daftarnyaa..

1. Visit The Country: Read a book that has setting in a country that you really want to visit in real life. Make sure the setting has a big role in the book and it can make you know a little bit more about your dream destination.

sejak nonton "p.s. i love you", gua jatuh cintaa ama irlandia, negara ini menjadi salah satu negara impian dan gua harap one day before i leave this world, gua berkesempatan menjejakkan kaki di sana, amiiinn :)) awalnya beli buku ini buat temen gua yang pencinta maeve tapi karena satu dan lain hal, satu tahun telah berlalu sejak gua beli and nih buku masih ngendon aja di lemari gua :p blessing in disguise karena jadi menemukan buku yang 'pas' untuk 'tantangan' nomor 1, ahahahaha :D

2. Cover Lust: Pick a book from your shelf that you bought because you fell in love with the cover. Is the content as good as the cover?

buku ini udah gua beli lamaaa bangetss.. dari jaman gramedia cuman ngadain sale di bentara budaya aja, huahahahaha.. udah lama bener khan tuh :p and gua suka cover ala komik macam gini jadi kenapa tidak membacanya di tahun 2014 nanti? toh nih buku udah cukup lama mengumpulkan 'debu' :p

3. Blame it on Bloggers: Read a book because you’ve read the sparkling reviews from other bloggers. Don’t forget to mention the blogger’s names too!

pengen buku ini karena pertama, covernya cantiikkss :)) and gua sih jarang baca2 review ataupun rating kecuali lagi pengen tahu.. tapi kemaren pas nanya jeng dewi, dia bilang nih buku lucu dan menghibur.. and berhubung 'taste' untuk buku2 sejenis biasanya sama, jadi pengen baca dhe :))

awalnya ga niat beli apa2 pas ke kenanga 6 nemenin via tapi pas sampai dekat kasir, mata gua nyangkut di nih buku, pas baca2 sinopsis-nya, kayanya lumayaan juga jadi mari dicomot aja dhe :))

5. (Not So) Fresh From the Oven: Do you remember you bought/got a new released book last year but never had a chance to read it? Dig it from your pile and bring back the 2013.

 ngeliat covernya sih sebenernya ngga terlalu tertarik :p tapi karena dijual dengan harga diskon dan kondisi masih bagus jadi beli aja dhe, lagian pernah baca review temen, katanya sih bagus :)

6. First Letter’s Rule: Read a book which title begins with the same letter as your name (for me, Astrid means A, and I can read anything that started with the letter A). Remember: Articles like “a”, “an” or “the” doesn’t count

7. Once Upon a Time: Choose a book that’s been published for the first time before you were born (not necessarily has to be a classic book, just something a little bit older than you is okay. You can read the most recent edition if you want to)

senang bangets pas mantengin lemari buku kemaren ini buat nyari buku bacaan bertema Natal ehh ngeliat ada bukunya agatha christie yang nyempil.. rupanya nih buku berhasil selamat dari 'loakan', ahahahaha :))

8. Chunky Brick: Take a deep breath, and read a book that has more than 500 pages. Yep, the one that you’ve always been afraid of!

awalnya mau masukin "the candymaker" tapi nih buku juga masuk buat reading challenge yang lain jadi yaa sekalian aja masukin ke sini juga biar ngga kebanyak "must read books" di tahun 2014 :p

walau terdengar aneh.. tapi kadang gua merasa 'sayang' membaca bukunya enid.. 'sayang' dalam artian.. duh, kalau nih buku gua baca, berkurang satu lagi dhe buku enid yang gua punya dan belum dibaca, ahahahahaa :)) jadi in a way, gua selalu menunda2 membaca buku ini :p enaknya buku2 3 in 1 macam gini karena dipastikan dari segi harga jelaaas lebih ekonomis lha yaauu.. tapi harus diakui kalau buku satuannya itu lebih kece covernya, hahaha.. dalam hidup itu memang banyak yang harus dipilih yaa :p

10. It’s Been There Forever: Pick up a book that has been there on your shelf for more than a year, clean up the dust and start to read it now

gua beli buku ini di diskonan tutup tokonya qbworld, nahh.. kebayang khan udah berapa tahun nih buku ga 'dijamah' dan hanya dibiarkan tergeletak begitu saja di lemari buku tanpa dibaca, haha.. mari, marii.. tahun depan mudah2an aja dikau berhasil dibaca :D

11. Movies vs Books: You’ve seen the movie adaptation (or planned to see it soon) but never had time to read the book. It’s time to read it now, so you can compare the book vs the movie.

udah pernah nonton sih film yang dibintangi oleh cameron diaz ini but honestly, gua ngga terlalu inget ceritanya :p and belum pernah baca karyanya jodi picoult padahal banyak yang bilang bagus :D

ga tau kenapa, sampai saat ini gua ngga terlalu tertarik ama yang namanya baca biografi (ehh.. bedanya ama memoar tuh apa ya?) tapi mengingat nih buku tipiiss ya boleh lah coba dibaca :))

pas kemaren nyari2 buku buat milih cover terbaik, gua jadi pengen baca ulang nih buku karena kesan yang masih tertinggal adalahh.. nih buku baguuuuss! padahal ceritanya simpel and ngga tebal pula but still.. bisa memberikan 'sesuatu' buat yang baca ;)
